The core network idea

3 Fears Over Networks

#3 It’s difficult to start networking

There is a difference between socializing and networking, and the fear is justified that the start can be difficult. Nevertheless, the two approaches are related and just as easy to implement with practice.

Each person is full of special life experiences, wisdoms, connections, wealth of knowledge and opportunities. In the ITP coach network, IT specialists and excellent coaches operate together in a collective learning approach and share their successes and insights. The ITP coaches networking possibilities provide a quick and effective foundation to take networking to a quantum level.

#2 A good network only works with powerful people.

There is a right and a wrong way to network. And while it takes time to learn the right ways to network, we can all recognize the wrong ways instantly. These ways include talking too loudly or too long, interrupting, not asking about the person you’re talking to and pressing business cards into people’s hands. These tactics make for ineffective networking because no one likes being subjected to the “hard sell.” Powerful people have a great advantage, as the other want to network with them.

Since networking is a skill, you do what you always do when you need to learn a new skill.

The core, revolutionary idea is that the ITP coaches network is continuously growing in both quantity and quality. Quality increases all the time because IT specialists and excellent coaches operate together in a collective learning approach and share their successes and insights.

#1 Not believing in the benefits of the ITP coach network

The proof of concept must be provided first. Truly successful networking depends on individual efforts along with the commitment of the person concerned. The first step was to publish the idea in the book “The Trillion Dollar IT Revolution.” The second step is to build the network and to form confidence into the network, to build trust.

To be effective with a network over the long run, you have to deliver on your commitments, demonstrate that you have the power to do so and act with positive intent.
